Staff at Bicester vets

About Us

Bicester VetsBicester Vets is a high quality, modern small animal veterinary practice based in the heart of Bicester. We are accredited under the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons – Practice Standards Scheme. This is a voluntary scheme aimed at practices wishing to attain very high standards.

Our biggest asset is our staff who have the experience, knowledge and skills to ensure that your pet receives the highest quality of care. Our dedication to clinical excellence is backed by our commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for all staff, ensuring that the most up-to-date treatments are available at the time when your pet needs it most.

Our dedicated receptionists are on hand to make your appointments and deal with any general queries you may have. They are all pet lovers too and are committed to the care and welfare of your pets.

Hospitalisation facilities are provided for the very sick and for those recovering from operations overnight. Our veterinary in-patient facilities are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and comfort and include separate cat and dog wards, together with isolation and intensive care wards.

If your pet requires an overnight stay, one of our nursing staff will be on-site all night to ensure their safety and well-being.

Surgery is performed on the premises in our modern operating suite using the most up to date anaesthetic drugs and equipment. Anaesthetised patients are closely monitored by our nursing staff throughout their operation and recovery. They have the back up of vital sign monitoring equipment to ensure patient safety during anaesthesia.

X-rays, ultrasound and other diagnostic procedures are performed using the latest equipment and safety precautions so that we can identify the cause of any problems quickly. This enables Bicester Vets to offer the best possible advice to owners with the aim of returning their pets to good health.

Our aim is always to provide you with a great client experience and to give your beloved pets the best care available. If you’d like to know more about Bicester Vets then pop in or give us a call on 01869 252077.

We look forward to giving you a warm welcome to Bicester Vets.

On the 28th of last month, Beau (our Cockapoo) and myself had to visit you as he was constipated.

Kindly you worked your magic, since when, he seems to have been fine. A result, so many thanks 🙂

Also, you kindly dealt with the claim put in with the insurance company covering Beau (Animal Friends); reimbursement has now been received – you make dog ownership so easy.

Thank you to all involved.

Andy

Obee can’t thank Helen and Cliff enough for the advice that I received, and the care that Obee, my Bernese Mountain Dog had at your surgery.
I know there are many others behind the scenes that helped with his care as well, but, for me and Obee, Helen and Cliff were the faces of Bicester Vets.

I was very undecided as to the best route to go down, and at times it was confusing with almost too many options and possible outcomes! But you were patient with me and after a couple of weeks decided that the best option was to remove the tumour on his leg. Even though he is a big dog and 9 years old.

Anyway, two and a half weeks after the operation, he is doing really well and it looks like it was the right decision. He is happy and back to his old self.

Thanks again for your patience and help.
Martin
