Recently Bicester Vets received Silver Accreditation with the BVA Great Workplaces Scheme.
The scheme was created and managed by the British Veterinary Association (BVA) and is designed to recognise and reward positive workplace culture across both clinical and non-clinical veterinary workplaces.
By focusing on fostering a thriving workforce, the scheme helps workplaces create environments where teams feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
Senior nurses Sophie & Louise lead the organisation of the process at our end which included everyone completing an online questionnaire followed by in-person interviews with a representative from the scheme.
The information was collated and we were thrilled to be accredited with the award. Alongside this we got lots of great feedback about areas to improve plus plenty of pats on the back where we were already performing well.
Overall, it was a very positive experience for the team and fits nicely alongside our “Employee Owned” practice model.
