scratchingWe are very pleased to announce that as of April 2018, Mark Craig will be visiting Bicester Vets once a month to see complex dermatological (skin disease) cases.

Mark completed a residency at the Royal Veterinary College where he completed his certificate in Small Animal Dermatology back in the early 1990’s. For the subsequent 20 or so years he has run his own dermatology referral service.

Mark has vast experience in dermatological conditions and their treatment and he also has a special interest in allergic and auto-immune skin diseases.

Apart from working as a referral dermatologist Mark has written numerous papers in veterinary magazines and even chapters in veterinary textbooks.
Mark’s extra study, experience and ongoing learning qualify him as an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Dermatology.

Mark will be available to see patients from the middle of April. His first visit usually takes between 1.5 – 2 hours and will include in depth analysis of the history of the condition, examination of the pet and usually some initial tests looking at the hair and skin surface under the microscope.
