This entails full-time work, following our rolling nine-week rota; learning on the job as well as attending college one day a week.

The college course takes two years to complete and involves coursework, exams and completion of the on-line Nursing Progress Log.

The course is funded by Bicester Vets (subject to a training agreement) and support is given from a Registered Veterinary Nurse Mentor in practice.

We have 11 vets, 11 nurses, 2 Animal Care Assistants and a fantastic reception team.

Many of our vets hold extra certificates in a range of subjects and we have visiting specialists in ultrasonography and ophthalmology. Thus, we have a broad range of medical and surgical cases, all treated on-site, which is ideal for completing the Nursing Progress Log.

Prospective candidates must have the following criteria to apply:

• Five A-C grade GSCE’s including Maths, Science and English.
• A full driving licence and car/transport. (Attending college involves a weekly drive to Warwickshire).
• Previous animal related work experience is beneficial but not essential.

Please send a CV and covering letter to Kath@bicestervets.co.uk

We look forward to hearing from you!
